Manufactured from pigments suspended in Alkyd Resin and White Spirit, the most
outstanding advantage of the Griffin Alkyd range of colours is their speed
of drying, which allows a painting to be completed in a single session. The
clarity of the Alkyd Resin allows the full brightness of pigment to show when
the colour is dry.
The firm buttery consistency of Griffin Alkyd Colours makes them ideal for
impasto techniques, whilst their luminosity and speed of drying makes them an
ideal choice for glazing techniques when used with Liquin medium. In addition
Griffin Alkyd is highly recommended for use on a variety of porous surfaces and
especially for work that is to be exhibited out of doors and on fabric.
Griffin Alkyd, "the fast drying oil colour", may be used in conjunction with
other oil ranges, offering the Artist the ability to produce an extensive
variety of tones and shades of colour.
